Genentech Internship

Genentech’s Process Research and Development Departments would like to share with you two exciting opportunities for current students and upcoming graduates looking to gain work experience in the Biotechnology field at our South San Francisco and Oceanside, CA sites.

Process R&D Rotational Program (PDRP): This program places new graduates with strong scientific and leadership potential into four six-month rotations and then transitions them into specific positions within Process R&D at the end of the two-year program. Begins August 2010.

Co-op/Intern program: Open to exceptional current students as well as recent graduates. Winter co-op positions begin in January, and Summer co-op and intern positions begin in May/June 2010. Lasts either 3 months (internship) or 6 months (co-op).

Functional areas for both programs include Cell Culture, Purification, Quality Bioanalytical Development, Pharmaceutical Development, Device Development, Pilot Plant Operations, and Process Development Engineering.

After receiving resumes, telephone interviews will be conducted with the top candidates which may be followed by an on-site interview at Genentech.  These telephone interviews will be starting as soon as resumes are received, so apply soon!
