Workshop on Microarray Data Analysis for
Cell Culture Engineering
- June 19-20, 2008

The goal of this workshop is to enable the cell culture professional to fully utilize the power of transcriptome and proteome analysis. To extract the most information from DNA microarray and proteomic data, one needs the synergetic use of knowledge on cellular physiology and bioinformatic skills. This hands-on workshop will cover fundamentals of microarray data analysis with references to proteomic analysis. An emphasis will be placed on the development of physiological insights from transcriptome data. The course involves intense use of computer stations and tutorial interactions. The attendees should have a basic understanding of cell culture or cell physiology. However, prior microarray experience is not necessary.
